The last post that I wrote here was during my final examination. But right now, I have already done with my final exams,already started my semester 5 break holiday, finished off my MUET exams, received my final exams result three weeks ago, now I'm finally done with my Diploma.
Phew, what an elaboration.
I'm so happy that I'm finally done with my diploma. I am now a free woman. So before I go into details on what I'm going to do during my 6 months holiday before starting my degree, let me share a story regarding what happened during my final exams.
So, for your information, for this semester I took 7 subjects and apparently, during previous final exams I sat for 8 papers. Kidding? I wish I am. It was pretty devastating. So before you guys jump into the conclusion, I would like to brief a bit about our course. So, we are the first batch of UITM Diploma in Accountancy to experience the new code. It means that our subjects are slightly differ from our seniors. We do not have our own past year exams, and we are totally depending to our senior past year questions and sample, and you know its a bit confusing. But whatever,its not something to brag. And since, we are in Kolej Bersekutu UiTM, so none of our lecturers will check or correct our final exam papers. So it means that we are only holding into God's mercy. The lecturers who marked our papers didn't even know who we are.
So during semester 5, for what I know, we took a subject which is called Financial Analysis that our seniors haven't taken it yet. Even our lecturers took this subject during their Masters. So, its a bit tough for us because we didn't know what we are learning. Even our lecturers didn't really know how to teach us. And it even more tougher for students who hated the subjects.( I am one of those.)
During final exams, before Financial Analysis (FAR 340) paper begins, it was pretty intense. My friend from other UITM asking me how to study this paper and all that. Which turns out, we also didn't have a clue. But its not that our lecturers didnt make an effort. Kudos to my lecturer who teach Financial Accounting (FAR 320) also gave a helping hand to teach this subject even though we pretty much have no idea how the question turns out. Since we only depending on the sample given, and some spots questions from someone who make the exams paper. Other than that, from 100% our efforts.
So after the paper finished, we were all so relieved. Like everyone was over the moon, since there were two more papers left. So, supposedly after FAR340 paper, its Marketing paper (MKT243). Suddenly, one night before MKT 243 paper begins, we received official news from UITM saying that we have to reseat FAR340 again because there's a leakage. It was devastating that night, we couldn't even concentrated on our reading. After answering the reseat paper, the questions are pretty much harder than the first one. Of course, they wouldn't make an easy questions for the second paper. Everyone is mad, but our lecturer said that "Ïts fair because some people who cheat will have to pay for the price, and second chance to those who didn't do the best for the first paper." Whatever, now I have finished with this, so right now I am going to focus what I am going to do during my 6 months of holiday.
So, since holiday has began for nearly one month now. I decided to find a job in order to survive my books desire. I cannot fathom how much I needed right now because books are totally expensive. Plus, I feel bad to ask money from my mum & dad since they need to take care a lot of things. Besides, I dont want to be a pain in the ass.
